West Hongqiao Cargo Terminal is in close proximity of No. 2 Runway of Hongqiao International Airport and came into service on March 16, 2010. The Terminal occupies an area of 30,000 m² used for the transport of inward and outward cargoes on domestic flights at Hongqiao Airport and processes 301,000 tons of cargoes in 2012. It has set up Business Hall respectively for domestic inward and outward cargo, 16 security checkpoints and 14 delivery channels for inward cargoes, and boasts complete functions including domestic flight booking, waybill preparation, receiving, loading, stowage, sorting, delivery, transfer, handling of special cargoes, etc.
