East Hongqiao Cargo Terminal lies in close proximity of No.1 Runway of Hongqiao Airport and is the First Supervision Warehouse Area of Shanghai International Airport Customs. The Terminal occupies 60,000 m² for the transport of inward and outward cargoes on international flights at Hongqiao Airport. It is divided into Processing Zone of International Outward Cargo, Processing Zone of International Inward Cargo, Airside Zone for backlog cargo, and ULD Storage Zone, and boasts operational capacity of 20,600 tons in 2012.
