At 9:00 am, December 11, the first EAEMALL chartered flight loaded with fruits from Chile finally landed at the Pudong International Airport after a 30-hour + flight for nearly 19 kilometers. This is the first large-scale purchase of fruits in season including Chinese cherry and blueberry from South America by EAEMALL. It is worth noted that direct outsourcing logistics pattern was adopted this time to reduce logistics cost and shorten the logistics time. This is a strong move of EAL in the transformation from a traditional carrier to a modern logistics service integrator.

Upon completing relevant supervision procedures, this batch of goods was released in the witness of officers from Consulate General of the Republic of Chile in Shanghai Pudong Airport Customs and EAL. This is the first international fruit chartered flight in the Chinese Mainland. Its success opens a new channel for delivering agricultural and fishery products from South America directly to China.
